APPLICATION PROCESS You are invited to submit an application to run a concurrent workshop session or a present a Research strand paper at the 18th National Career Conference of the Career Development Association of Australia. All applications must be received by Friday 29 August 2008 and will be reviewed. Acceptance or otherwise will be notified by 26 September 2008.
Specific details of submission requirements and criteria for selection of an Elective Workshops or a Research Strand paper can be found by reading the Call for Abstracts document or by entering the ONLINE site.
EXPENSES As an activity of a non-profit Association, the CDAA 18th National Career Conference is unable to offer remuneration to presenters. Presenters are expected to cover their own transportation, hotel and all handout reproduction costs. Presenters are invited to attend the Conference free of charge on the day of their workshop or paper presentation, with a special Speaker fee to apply for days they wish to attend the conference. Please note that a maximum of two presenters for any one presentation are eligible for the speaker fee. To assist continuity, full conference attendance is encouraged.
PROMOTION
Presenters should refrain from using their sessions to advertise or promote any product or service in which they have a monetary interest. Inserts in conference satchels are welcome at a set charge.
