Dr Jenny Bimrose is Principal Research Fellow at the Institute for Employment Research at the University of Warwick. She has over thirty years’ experience of teaching and researching in higher education, extensive experience of external project management and experience of working as a career guidance practitioner in different contexts. Most research projects she has managed have focused on practice-based research in the areas of careers guidance and counselling. Jenny is a Fellow of the Institute for Careers Guidance and a member of both its Research and Ethics Committees. Also a member of the IAEVG and the NCDA, she is Visiting Professor of Career Research and Practice at the Centre for Guidance Studies, University of Derby and has undertaken numerous consultancies, including for the Council of Europe.
Dr Hazel Reid is Head of the Centre for Career and Personal Development at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. She teaches on a range of undergraduate and post graduate programmes, specialising in the area of career guidance theory. She is a member of the Research Committee of the Institute of Career Guidance, the International Association of Educational and Vocational Guidance and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her research interests include support and supervision for youth support workers and developing narrative approaches for guidance practice.
Cecile Riddle is a career/life coach who established her business, Prime Performance, as a private practitioner in 1990. She specialises in career development/coaching of business owners and their executive staff. She also provides HR Planning Development advice and facilitates HR training in interpersonal skills, team building, leadership development and work-life balance.
Cecile was a Senior Medical Scientist and University Lecturer who successfully negotiated a career change in the early 1990’s to pursue her “bliss”. Committed to life-long learning her academic qualifications include: Bachelor in Applied Science; Masters Degree, majoring in Human Resource Management; Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy; Certificate in Career Coaching; Certificate IV in Small Business Management and Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training. She is also an internationally accredited Facilitator and Train the Trainer in Personality Dimensions®
From 1999-2005, Cecile has consistently been awarded a High Commendation in the Australian Achievers Awards, for excellence in customer relations.
Tannis Goddard is the founder and President of Training Innovations, a career counselling organization in Canada that delivers services to over 3000 individuals each year. With practical experience and an academic background in career development and Online learning, she has lead her team in designing and delivering online counselling programs for individual clients in Canada for over 5 years and also consults with other organization s as they adopt and integrate online solution s into their service models. In 2007, Tannis won the Award of Excellence for an Individual from the Career Management Association of BC. Tannis is a regular presenter at national and international conferences and is excited to be returning to the AACC for a second year.
