<br><P align=left><FONT color=#221e1f><FONT face=Arial>To employ a sound, workable, flexible assessment on any dog requires the assessment to cover several areas of natural drives, instincts and abilities as inherited from the host species the wolf. Any assessment must also identify the given character strengths and weaknesses of the assessed dog. Assessments must be fashioned to test and identify the dog’s environmental influences such as early experiences both good and bad, it’s social exposure up until 16 weeks of age and any adverse reactions from neglect or learned experiences. When the assessment is to be carried out on dogs that are alleged to have been involved in incidents of aggression to humans or other dogs or species of animals the assessment tool must also have sections that includes assessment that will both identify and test the dog’s desire to replicate the behaviour in a similar fashion. Safety of the assessing person and any other bystanders, animals or the test subject is of paramount importance. A systematic approach is the only way to assess dogs as there are already many variables to be managed and only a flexible systematic approach will allow correct management and control of as many variables as possible to ensure a workable, safe control protocol</FONT>.</FONT></P>
